Matt Bainum is an entrepreneur and operator focused on acquiring and leading enduring small businesses. He earned his MBA in Management and Finance from The Wharton School of Business, graduating with honors.

He founded MindPak, a SaaS platform that brought mental health support to more than 600 K–12 schools, and also has experience leading product initiatives at Newsela, a fast-growing EdTech company serving millions of students.

Matt began his career with Teach For America, helping transform outcomes at one of California’s lowest-performing middle schools. 

Today, he serves on the board of White Oak Enterprises and as a board observer for Choice Hotels International, bringing experience in private investment and public company governance.
